Eight young musicians playing classic soul tracks to keep you dancing all night long. Classic Soul Dogs is an big 8-piece band with male and female vocals, guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, tenor/alto sax and trumpet.
We tailor our performance to suit your exact requirements. ANY type of event catered for - corporate, weddings, parties, festivals, clubs and pubs.

Free drinks, power problems and flashing ladies!
A evening full of suprises! Upon arrival Classic Soul Dog's technical team discovered that the venue was sporting a brand new sound limiting system. In short; when the band comes on the power goes off! Following the Hotel Staff's advice we took power from another room which isn't under the system's influence. However, in their wisdom the Bassist and Guitarist decided they should take power from the nearest outlet and with the bands first note; off went the Bass and Guitar amps!
Never one to let a small disaster affect the performance, Tom (piano), Andrew (Drums) and Dave (Male vocals) performed "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" as it's never been done before!

didn't stand a chance against this monster!
Power outage overcome we then faced another, different kind of "outage"...
suffice to say it made "Big Dave" blush!
The Live Soul and Funk music ended at midnight with the music and dancing continued well into the morning. Classic Soul Dogs would like to thank the staff at PHS for their enthusiasm and participation all night long... and for the free drinks vouchers!
