Eight young musicians playing classic soul tracks to keep you dancing all night long. Classic Soul Dogs is an big 8-piece band with male and female vocals, guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, tenor/alto sax and trumpet.

Classic Soul Dogs grows to nine musicians at Paul and Bethan's wedding in St Marys Hotel and Golf Club.

If you count carefully, you'll see that Classic Soul Dogs has grown to nine for this gig. Our female vocalist, Jo Capel, has decided to take a trip around the world so here you see Anias and Cassie stepping womanfully into Jo's shoes, one each. What happened next was a relaxed wedding evening of superb soul music in South Wales.
St. Mary's is a converted 16th Century farmhouse with a friendly and helpful management team plus a huge conservatory that boasts a great sound for dancing. The band eased into the larger end, leaving plenty of room for a dance floor that was packed at all times.
The first number of the second half turned out to be a childrens' dance special. Break dancing wasn't quite right for the style of music but seemed to attract at least one fan.
