Eight young musicians playing classic soul tracks to keep you dancing all night long. Classic Soul Dogs is an big 8-piece band with male and female vocals, guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, tenor/alto sax and trumpet.
We tailor our performance to suit your exact requirements. ANY type of event catered for - corporate, weddings, parties, festivals, clubs and pubs.

GETTING THE MOST INTO CHALFORD
JULY 2004. You know that time you go on holiday and have to get both sets of neighbours to come round to sit on the suitcase. Chalford is like that. Take one picturesque Gloucestershire hillside near Stroud and millions of tonnes of toffee-coloured rocks, then build the most complex network of steep, narrow, windy roads that you possibly can.
Complex enough for one resident to offer his 6 year old son (with broken arm) to navigate from the front seat, rather than give directions.
Narrow enough to knock both wing mirrors off the Galaxy - at the same time.
It
was fair retribution. Matt and Lucy drove from Exeter through foul
weather to hear the band entertain with sweet soul music after an AODP conference, at Cardiff
Jurys Hotel.
A magical marquee filled the garden - lawn, flower beds, paths, everywhere. Catering was in the garage, toilets in the vegetable patch (no, portaloos) and our mix position in the strawberry bed. Wedding guests were, of course, mostly in the marquee.
Classic Soul Dogs featured the gorgeous Sian for this evening, stepping in at short notice. Thanks Sian.
Playing up the slope, half on, half off the dancefloor was a little bit of a challenge, but didn't seem to get in the way of a fabulous evening of dancing and enjoyment.
The bride and groom left late in the evening to the sound of Crazy in Love on CD. The amplifiers cooled and the steep, sleepy village of Chalford finally was able to sleep.
Our very best wishes to Matt and Lucy in their future life together. And thanks to the family for inviting us to your lovely home.
