Eight young musicians playing classic soul tracks to keep you dancing all night long. Classic Soul Dogs is an big 8-piece band with male and female vocals, guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, tenor/alto sax and trumpet.

Every seat empty. Everyone on the dance floor.
The
ghost of Caerphilly Castle kept well away at the Charity Ball organised
by Glantaf School. Superb table settings and delightful food, illuminated
by hundreds of candles around the walls of the Great Hall set the mood
for the entire evening.
The evening opened with a beautiful harp recital by a pupil of Glantaf School. Classic Soul Dogs jazz quartet played during the meal and, with a fund-raising auction and some games, we managed to squeeze in two storming sets before midnight came along all too quickly, leaving everyone clamouring for more.
Proudly standing on a 30-acre site, Caerphilly Castle is one of the largest fortresses in Europe. Boasting a tower which 'out leans' that of Pisa, the castle also receives visits from the infamous ghost of the Green Lady. In fact, I think she was on the dance floor.
The must be something magical about the castle (or perhaps because there are three ex-Glantaf pupils in the band) as, from the opening number to the end, just about everyone was on the dance floor. At one point, every seat in the room was empty.
