Eight young musicians playing classic soul tracks to keep you dancing all night long. Classic Soul Dogs is an big 8-piece band with male and female vocals, guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, tenor/alto sax and trumpet.
We tailor our performance to suit your exact requirements. ANY type of event catered for - corporate, weddings, parties, festivals, clubs and pubs.

BIRTHDAY BASH RECIPE - SEPTEMBER 2003
Ingredients:
- One complete Georgian Mansion for a whole weekend in deepest Wales
- One gregarious 40 year old male
- 40 good friends and all their children
- Two fabulous bands
- 20 minutes of industrial strength fireworks
- Plenty of food and drink flowing at all hours
Method:
- Mix thoroughly, then bake vigorously till the early hours of the morning. Handle gently next day.
Classic Soul Dogs shared an enthusiastic evening with Blondie tribute band Once More Into The Bleach. Opening with a preprandial smooth and funky set in the hallway of the mansion, after dinner and fireworks Classic Soul Dogs enjoyed a superb 90 minute set from Once More Into The Bleach then closed the party with not one but two final sets. Dragged willingly back to the stage, the band escaped at 3am.
Apart from some very sore heads on Sunday everyone
had a fantastic time not in the least because of the Classic Soul Dogs.
The fact that people were dancing before dinner was probably a hint
as to what was to come.
