1. Years of experience: Classic Soul Dogs have performed at (literally) hundreds of weddings, parties, balls and corporate events. We've played at all sorts of venues to all sorts of crowds. During those performances, we have honed our sets and our performance to an exceptionally professional level. 2. Our demo recording is 100% live! Whilst this may not seem like a big deal, it really is. So many of our fellow function bands use a polished studio recording as an example of their performance, which is not representative of the performance on the night. Our video and demo is us playing live, together, at the same time in the same room! We have nothing to hide and are proud of our abilities as a live band.
3. Young, friendly, and professional. We really enjoy what we do and we love making people boogie. We've often been praised about the level of support we offer before your wedding. We're here to help you in any way we can and we're pretty flexible with arrangements too, if there's something specific you want - just ask!
4. Totally self-contained. Full lighting, PA and interval music are all provided as standard by the band. This ensures that we have a consistent, rehearsed show that we know looks and sounds great.

With 5 graduates of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, 3 full time music lecturers, 8 full-time professional musicians and a professional sound engineer we can confidently boast that we have some of the best musicians in the country! And while most bands make boastful claims about their musical abilities, what's more important is that we have developed a real chemistry as a band. Much more than your average 'weekend warriors', our setlist includes ambitious, inventive tunes that are a testament to our skills.
6. Quality equipment. All bands say that, right?! We're a bit different. Andrew, the band leader, started life as a professional audio/visual technician (a.k.a. Techie Geek!) so he know's a thing or 2 about live sound. Or PA is pro spec (no, really - take a look!) and our lighting is the latest LED lighting rig on the market. Our stage bristles with pro synthesizers; vintage amplifiers and cordless microphones (so the dance moves can come out!) and we are really passionate about great sound quality.
7. Flexible. We have a varied repertoire to suit most occasions, incorporating soul and Motown; disco; 70s funk and pop. Give us an idea of the songs in our repertoire that you like and we can tailor the set for you.
8. Standards compliant. Classic Soul Dogs is fully PAT tested and has comprehensive Public Liability Insurance. This is a requirement for most venues and we're happy to provide certificate copies for your venue.
